Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olen Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonathan Langtson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jonathan Langtson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Olen Gibbs's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Olen Gibbs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jonathan Langtson!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Skip Squint and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibbs throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Langtson's waist but Langtson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gibbs off to one side.
Langtson motions for Gibbs to come forward. Langtson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Gibbs gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Gibbs lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Langtson has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Gibbs is on him like a limpet, forcing Langtson back against the cage.

Langtson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gibbs can't fight it off and eventually Langtson manages to take the fight to the floor. Gibbs looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

I would just about give that final round to Jonathan Langtson.
I've got Langtson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
