And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Redfield!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Omar.
Redfield fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
An inside leg kick lands from Omar.
Omar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A swing and a miss from Redfield.
Omar throws a series of punches but Redfield moves out of range.
Omar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Omar fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Redfield has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Omar throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Redfield closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Omar can't break the clinch.
Redfield lands with a light punch inside.
Redfield lands with a right to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Redfield has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Omar regains guard immediately.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Omar utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Redfield throwing strikes but missing.
Omar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Redfield lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Omar kicks off Redfield and gets to his feet.

Redfield throws a hook to the side of Omar's head but Omar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Omar gets caught flat footed, as Redfield shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Omar is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Redfield is controlling him.
Omar is breathing heavily.
Redfield scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Redfield postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Redfield wants to control from the top but Omar keeps moving.
Redfield lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Omar wants to get back to his feet but Redfield passes into half guard.

Redfield lands a strong strike to the head of Omar. That's dazed him! Redfield looking to finish here. Omar is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Redfield lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
