Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jahmane Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Island Jigster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jahmane Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Island Jigster!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jigster misses with a double jab.
Jigster throws a shot to the body.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jigster but Jigster pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with Jigster, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes Jigster against the cage but Jigster circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jackson misses with a body kick.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Jackson is looking to work some ground and pound but Jigster has wrist control.
Jigster not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jackson stops Jigster from standing up.

Good exchange - Jackson coming out on top.
Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Jigster sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Jackson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Jigster to the mat! Jigster manages to get full guard.
Jigster looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jackson is one step ahead there.

Jigster connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jigster lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jigster drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jigster jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jigster postures up in Jackson's guard and throws a big left but Jackson blocks it.
Jigster would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jigster chips away with some ground and pound.
Jigster passes easily into side control. Nice work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jahmane Jackson dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Jackson counters with a head kick. That will keep Jigster thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

A frustrated look appears on Jigster's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jigster has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jackson dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Jigster tries a body shot but Jackson blocks it.
Jackson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Jigster wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jackson has him pressed against the cage.

Jackson lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jigster wants to stand but Jackson is controlling the position.
Jackson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jigster on his heels. He'll look to pass Jigster's guard now, I'm sure.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Island Jigster hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Jigster moves into range and connects with a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jigster lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Jackson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jigster has time to react.
Jackson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jackson goes for a double leg but Jigster avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jigster continues to drive forward.

Jackson has Jigster pressed against the cage, preventing Jigster from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Jackson avoids a wild elbow strike from Jigster.

Jigster can't find room to land a body shot as Jackson controls the action.
Jigster is trying to push Jackson away but Jackson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Jackson is trying to stall.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Jackson.

Jackson jumps guard but Jigster stands there with Jackson around his waist. Jackson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jigster looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Jigster is trying to break the clinch but Jackson has him pressed against the cage.

Jackson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jigster fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jigster lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jackson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jackson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Jigster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jigster moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Island Jigster has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jahmane Jackson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Jigster throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jackson.

And that's the end of the fight!
Island Jigster comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Jackson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
