The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Coulson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Snapyoarm sprawls well initially but Coulson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Coulson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Coulson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Snapyoarm has managed to free his arm - good work.
Coulson is looking to take a break and control but Snapyoarm is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Snapyoarm has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Coulson is working away from the top position though.

Coulson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Snapyoarm is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Coulson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Snapyoarm controls the pace.

Coulson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Snapyoarm's half guard.

We've been informed that Snapyoarm has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Coulson is pressing down on Snapyoarm's thigh, looking to free his foot. Snapyoarm is holding on for now.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Coulson wants to advance to full mount but Snapyoarm doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Coulson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snapyoarm swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
