Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big mo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholas Ares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicholas Ares is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Nicholas Ares!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ares circles away from the clinch attempt.

Ares gets a clinch.
Ares presses mo against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
mo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ares has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ares fails to pull guard.
mo lands an elbow that stopped Ares in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Nicholas Ares has been cut.
Ares avoids a wild elbow strike from mo.
Ares dodges an elbow strike from mo.
mo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
mo lands an elbow inside.
Ares tries to land a knee to the head but mo blocks with his arms.

Ares pulls mo into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

mo stands up from guard. Let's bang!
mo closes the distance but Ares moves to the side

and Ares counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ares.

Ares decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ares misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Ares fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with mo, pushing him back against the cage.
Ares is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
mo is breathing heavily.
Ares lands a body shot in the clinch.

Ares pulls guard.
mo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ares on the ground.
Ares is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ares looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
mo is not content to let Ares control the position.
Ares is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Ares looking to control but mo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Ares throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Ares tries to control but mo wriggling away.

mo is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

mo is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Ares controlling from the full mount.
mo wants to try and get back to his feet.
Ares has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ares takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

mo is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Ares locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! mo is forced to tap!
