Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Huxi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Li Rue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Huxi both land. Nice combination.
Huxi lands a two punch combo.
Rue takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Huxi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Rue pushes Huxi up against the cage in a clinch.

Huxi breaks from the clinch.
Huxi goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Huxi stalks Rue and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rue's face. Rue staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Huxi leaves Rue with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Huxi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Huxi blocks a head kick by Rue.
Huxi lands a nice shot that snaps Rue's head back.
Huxi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Huxi goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Huxi throws a half hearted mid kick.
Rue avoids a kick to the body.

Rue moves into the clinch successfully.
Huxi tries to pull guard but Rue forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Huxi manages to break the clinch.
Huxi connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Huxi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rue looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rue rushes Huxi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Huxi misses with a body punch.
Rue has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rue goes for a takedown in the clinch but Huxi prevents it.
A frustrated look appears on Huxi's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Rue pulls guard successfully.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Huxi wanted to stand there but Rue had control of the position.
Huxi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Rue controls Huxi momentarily but Huxi frees himself.
Huxi wants to get up but he can't break Rue's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
