The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tanner cracks Robertson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Tanner lands with a hook. Robertson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Tanner tries for a takedown but Robertson manages to get underhooks.
Robertson lands with a short shot to the head.

Tanner tries a knee to the head but Robertson blocks it.

Tanner ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tanner no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Robertson looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Robertson wants to get up but he can't break Tanner's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Tanner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Robertson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tanner throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Robertson.

Robertson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Tanner throws a leg kick but Robertson sees it coming and moves out of range.

Tanner takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Robertson misses with an uppercut. Tanner saw that one coming.
Robertson cracks the inside of Tanner's front leg.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tanner lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Robertson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Robertson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Robertson throws a good cross that connects.
Robertson's corner calls for a 1-2. Robertson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Tanner takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Tanner takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Tanner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nice defenses there by Robertson.
Robertson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Robertson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tanner has time to react.

Tanner is rocked!
Robertson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Tanner is still on wobbly legs! Can Robertson finish him?

Tanner throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Tanner circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Robertson. Tanner falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Robertson!

A less than humble Jase Robertson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
