Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yaniv Schulmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carl Lynn!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Francis DeMontford and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Schulmann.
Lynn is not content to let Schulmann control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Schulmann working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Schulmann tries for a kimura but Lynn is defending well.

Lynn is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Schulmann throws a solid leg kick but Lynn takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Schulmann.

Schulmann really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Lynn throws a right hand that Schulmann ducks under and follows up with a left that Schulmann also avoids with ease.

Lynn smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lynn throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lynn digs a good body shot into Schulmann's ribs.

Schulmann is rocked!
Schulmann stuffs the takedown attempt from Lynn. Lynn gets slowly back to his feet.
Oh Schulmann is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lynn has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Schulmann is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Lynn is looking to land body kicks.
Schulmann seems to have got his legs back now.
Carl Lynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lynn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Schulmann sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lynn somewhat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lynn is trying to push Schulmann away but Schulmann has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Lynn blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Yaniv Schulmann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Lynn.

Lynn's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Lynn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Schulmann counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Schulmann.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lynn can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Schulmann controls the pace.

Lynn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Schulmann looks up at the clock and then as Lynn takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Schulmann smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Schulmann wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lynn keeps working.

Schulmann is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Beast Cartel, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
