The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grande scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Grande scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Grande prevents Gracie from standing back up.
Grande lands with a punch from half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Grande lands a nice short elbow.
Grande looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Grande frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gracie is in a horrible position here. Grande smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Gracie is bucking up trying to escape but Grande cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Grande lands a big elbow.
Grande cracks Gracie with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gracie is breathing heavily.
Grande lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Gracie hang on?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grande tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
It looks like Grande might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gracie is bucking up trying to escape but Grande cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Gracie wants to try and get back to his feet.

Grande breaks from Gracie's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Oh Gracie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Grande connects with a massive shot to the dome!
A big strike lands for Grande! That's really hurt Gracie and he's turned his back - Grande keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Grande jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cao Grande!
During a confident post fight interview, Cao Grande thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
