Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Druff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Druff is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mother *uckers. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson takes a swing at Druff's ribcage but misses.

Dan Druff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Druff tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Druff tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jefferson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Druff somewhat.

Druff has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jefferson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Druff.

Jefferson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Druff to his feet.
Druff shoots in for a takedown but Jefferson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
