The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jones throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Gifford looks to land a combination. Jones sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gifford lands a body shot.
Jones misses with a double jab.
Jones takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gifford avoids a punch combination nicely.
Good work by Gifford as he checks the leg kick.
Gifford jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gifford throws a good cross that connects.
Jones looks to land a combination but Gifford avoids it well.
Jones throws a series of punches but Gifford avoids them all with ease.
Gifford looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Jones loses concentration momentarily and Gifford pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Jones crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Gifford finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
