Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chang Townsend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Manos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Manos rushes Townsend and presses him up against the cage.

Townsend decides to stand back up. Townsend steps back and let's Manos get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Chang Townsend will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Townsend is defended easily by Manos.
Manos closes the distance and clinches up with Townsend, looking for a takedown. Manos pushes Townsend against the cage but Townsend circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Manos shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Townsend is trying to defend but Manos finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Townsend is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Manos pulls his head out easily.

Townsend moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Townsend has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Manos is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Townsend ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Townsend no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Manos is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Townsend thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Manos is posturing up here but Townsend has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Manos tries to roll out but it's too tight and Manos has to tap! Slick submission there by Townsend!
