The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Rua or perhaps it was just good defense by Chiaro which made him look bad.

Rua had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chiaro is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rua Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chiaro's back instead.

Rua goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Chiaro escapes and is now in half guard on top.
