Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patryk Pedz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Holloway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holloway tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pedz swivels and escapes.
Holloway goes for a double leg but Pedz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pedz continues to drive forward.
Holloway is trying to force a seperation but Pedz has the dominant position.
Holloway tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Patryk Pedz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Holloway.
Pedz has Holloway pressed against the cage, preventing Holloway from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Pedz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Holloway fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Holloway has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pedz is working away from the top position though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pedz is stalling here. Holloway is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Pedz seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Holloway has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Pedz avoids a series of strikes thrown by Holloway.

Pedz somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

Holloway wants to land a leg kick but Pedz is out of range.
Pedz shoots for a double leg takedown but Holloway sprawls well. He's pushed Pedz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Holloway is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pedz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Max Holloway hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

That was a close second round but I would say that Patryk Pedz will probably get the nod.
