Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donny Ranger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins has chosen Disturbed - Down With The Sickness as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hawkins feints and as Ranger raises his hands in defense, Hawkins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hawkins decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ranger, up you get!

Ranger gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hawkins to score an easy takedown into full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marc Hawkins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hawkins's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
