The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yomata throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Yomata closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Crovopic is looking to control Yomata's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Crovopic avoid being mounted?
Crovopic is not content to let Yomata control the position.
Yomata looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Yomata thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Crovopic's head.
Yomata takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kenji Yomata was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Nice sprawl there from Crovopic as Yomata shoots in.
The fight stays on the outside here - Yomata looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Crovopic lands a high kick!
Kenji Yomata seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crovopic throws a series of punches but Yomata moves out of range.
A head kick from Crovopic lands but Yomata takes it in his stride.
Yomata is rocked!
Yomata tries to bum rush Crovopic with a series of wild strikes but Crovopic uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Yomata is still on wobbly legs! Can Crovopic finish him?
Yomata shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Crovopic comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Yomata stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Crovopic is on him like rabid pit bull! Yomata slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
