The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jeferson is defended easily by Link.
Jeferson shoots in but no luck this time.
Link fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jeferson swats away the attempt to clinch by Link.
Link with a lazy takedown attempt
and Jeferson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Jeferson lands a couple of digs.
Jeferson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Link is keeping the position for now.
Link is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jeferson is standing up over Link. Link looks to escape but Jeferson dives into side control.
Link is trying to buck Jeferson off.
Jeferson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jeferson grinds an elbow into Link's temple.
Link is rocked!
Jeferson cracks Link with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Jeferson immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Link is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Jeferson!
