Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Naughtius Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Pulaski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Pulaski.
Pulaski dives in and grabs Maximus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maximus pushes down on Pulaski's head and hops out.
Pulaski tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Maximus defends well and Pulaski ends up having to push Maximus into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Pulaski manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Pulaski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pulaski shoots in looking for a takedown but Maximus manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pulaski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pulaski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some bone on bone action there as Pulaski checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
