Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arlen Randall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaka Zulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zulu darts in trying to clinch

and Randall counters by clinching up.
Randall tries for a takedown. No joy.

Randall lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Randall tries to pass to full mount but Zulu defends it.

Randall is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Randall content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Arlen Randall wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Randall clinches up against the cage.

Randall escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zulu darts in trying to clinch

and Randall counters by clinching up.
Zulu wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Zulu with a knee to the head.

It looks like Arlen Randall has been cut.
Zulu lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Zulu wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Randall has him pressed against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Zulu is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Zulu misses with an elbow over the top.

Randall successfully pulls guard.

Zulu stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Randall throws up his legs and catches Zulu in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Zulu tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Randall! That came out of nowhere!
