Talent has chosen Head like a hole.....Nine Inch Nails as his entrance music. Willy Talent will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bouthillette looking to score a takedown here. Talent is defending well but Bouthillette drives through and ends up in Talent's guard.
Bouthillette trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bouthillette postures up in Talent's guard and throws a big left but Talent blocks it.

Bouthillette thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bouthillette loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Talent is on top in guard.
Bouthillette keeping moving, preventing Talent from controlling successfully.
Bouthillette is looking to stand up but Talent isn't so interested in that idea.
Talent throwing strikes from guard but Bouthillette blocks nicely.

Bouthillette escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Talent gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Talent throws a strike but Bouthillette rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bouthillette pushes down on Talent's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bouthillette looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Talent with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bouthillette is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Bouthillette thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Talent's head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bouthillette connects with a nice short shot to Talent's temple.

Talent is trying to get back to full guard.

Bouthillette seems to be working for a kimura but Talent defends the submission attempt.
Talent tries to roll over but Bouthillette keeps him under control.

Bouthillette is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Talent is just riding it out for now. Bouthillette eventually gives up the hold.
Talent has hold of Bouthillette's hands but Bouthillette slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Talent works his way to full guard. Good work.

Talent looking for a guillotine here but Bouthillette defends easily.
Talent can't keep his opponent in guard - Bouthillette advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Bouthillette passes the guard and advances to mount!
Talent really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bouthillette is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Talent can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Bouthillette lands a heavy elbow.
Talent is wriggling around trying to escape.
Talent is bucking up trying to escape but Bouthillette cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Talent is rocked!

Talent is still in real trouble! Can Bouthillette finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Talent takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Bouthillette's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
