The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Marciano.
Pukki tries a low kick but Marciano avoids it.
Good standup being displayed there by Pukki as he connects with a hook.
A lazy body kick from Pukki
and Marciano counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Pukki darts in looking for a takedown but Marciano gets double underhooks and turns Pukki into the cage.
Pukki avoids a wild elbow strike from Marciano.
Pukki is trying to maintain a safe position but Marciano gets an underhook and turns Pukki into the cage.
Pukki is looking to take this one to the mat.
Pukki prevents Marciano from breaking the clinch.
Pukki takes a shot to the head.

Marciano manages to break the clinch.
Pukki tries to clinch up.
Marciano throws a lazy right hand but Pukki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Marciano takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Marciano keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Marciano throws a jab when Pukki was well out of range.

A nice inside leg kick there by Pukki. That's going to slow Marciano down.
Marciano throws a hook but Pukki blocks it.
Pukki does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Pukki is looking to clinch.
Pukki doesn't manage to clinch there - Marciano circles away.
Pukki thumps Marciano with a low kick.
Pukki looks for a takedown but Marciano sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joulu Pukki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pukki feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Marciano's calf.

Pukki closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pukki lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Pukki looking to sit in guard and control but Marciano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Pukki is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at ELITE GYM 40CAP that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Pukki has his feet on Marciano's thighs here. He's pushed Marciano off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Marciano screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
