PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jhar Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Pranomthep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pranomthep is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Field of Dreams - Bliss N Eso ft. Paris Wells. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Pranomthep!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slice moves into range and clinches up with Pranomthep.
Pranomthep has Slice pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Slice manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Pranomthep has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Slice is trying to keep an underhook but Pranomthep manages to get the takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pranomthep slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Slice clinches up with Pranomthep and pushes him back against the cage.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Slice wants to work for an arm triangle but Pranomthep is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jhar Slice.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Slice, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
