Antona kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Laid to Rest by Lamb of God. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ernst slips a straight right by Antona.
Antona tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ernst fails in his attempt to clinch.
Antona has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Academia Ipanema in the buildup to the fight.
Antona will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Antona misses with a head kick.
Antona throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ernst tries to close the distance and clinch but Antona swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A swing and a miss from Antona.
Antona lands a leg kick that knocks Ernst off balance momentarily.
Aydine Antona seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ernst connects with a jab.
Ernst takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ernst tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Antona was well out of range. Poor timing from Ernst.

Ernst has Antona up against the cage in a clinch.
Ernst tries to land a knee to the head but Antona blocks with his arms.
Antona prevents the takedown attempt.
Ernst doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Ernst pushes Antona back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ernst with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Antona blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ernst tries a knee to the head but Antona blocks it.

Antona jumps guard and drags Ernst to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Antona is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ernst is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ernst postures up in Antona's guard and throws a big left but Antona blocks it.

Antona scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Ernst closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That kick from Antona tenderised Ernst's leg. Ernst is trying to keep his angry face on.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Antona lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

It looks like Tim Ernst has been cut.
Antona misses with a kick to the body.
Antona looks to land a body kick but Ernst moved away.

Ernst misses with a hook.
Ernst takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Ernst is rocked!
Ernst blocks a jab.
Ernst is still on wobbly legs! Can Antona finish him?
Antona throws a lazy uppercut
and Ernst counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Antona lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Ernst out cold! Ernst is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
