Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaholo Kealoha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Razim Al Assad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaholo Kealoha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Razim Al Assad!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Al Assad looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Al Assad is looking to work some ground and pound but Kealoha has wrist control.
Al Assad postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Al Assad postures up and lands a big shot to Kealoha's brow.
Kealoha avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Al Assad gets to his feet. Kealoha looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Kealoha closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kealoha is breathing heavily.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Al Assad.
Al Assad is looking to take this one to the mat.

Al Assad manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Al Assad manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Al Assad is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kealoha pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Al Assad lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Al Assad gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Al Assad is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Al Assad is looking for a kimura but Kealoha is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Al Assad to get the leverage.

Al Assad wants to take a breather but Kealoha is having none of it.
Al Assad lands with a punch from half guard.
Kealoha has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Al Assad throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Kealoha to regain full guard.
Kealoha has momentary wrist control but Al Assad slips an elbow through the middle.
Al Assad chips away with some ground and pound.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Al Assad is working Kealoha over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Al Assad is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kealoha has momentary wrist control but Al Assad slips an elbow through the middle.


Kealoha is rocked!
Al Assad postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Kealoha covers up, he's hurt! Al Assad keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Al Assad and the ref steps in to end the fight! Al Assad can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Razim Al Assad!
