The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels shoots in looking for a takedown but Halliday manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Daniels's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Halliday forces Daniels back against the cage and clinches.
Daniels lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Daniels dodges the punch combination from Halliday.
The fighters circle momentarily. Halliday darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Daniels shoots for a takedown but Halliday saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Mickey Halliday is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A jab-cross combination lands for Halliday and sends Daniels crashing to the mat! Halliday follows him down to the mat - Daniels regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Daniels takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Halliday lands with a nice body punch.
Halliday throws a nice inside leg kick.
Halliday feints with a jab and clips Daniels right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Daniels is sent crashing into the canvas and Halliday leaps in for the kill! Daniels tries to get to his feet but Halliday is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Daniels is in need of a savior and steps in!
