Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Oath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oath has chosen Fuck your guts out as his entrance music. Bruce Li has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruce Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Oath!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Li 's head but he takes it in his stride.


It looks like Bruce Li has been cut.
Li misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oath throws a leg kick but Li sees it coming and moves out of range.
Oath keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Li.
Li on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Li connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Ken Oath has been cut.
Oath is looking to land body kicks.
Li moves away from the strike by Oath.
Oath buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Li looks for the body kick but Oath saw that one coming.
No luck for Oath with that takedown attempt.
Oath throws out a leg kick but Li moves out of range and Oath only half commits.
Oath throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Li moves away from the strike by Oath.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Li moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Li lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Oath lands with a hook. Li tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Oath fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Li misses with a low kick.
Li tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Li lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Li on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Oath. Oath obviously looking to wear him down.
Li misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oath ducks right into an uppercut from Li.
Li walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.


Bruce Li's cut is getting worse.
We've been told by Li's head coaches at IMMA Gym of ASS that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Oath avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Li thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Oath if he has to take too many more of those.

Li clinches.
Li is looking to control Oath's arms but Oath gets an underhook and turns him. Now Li has his back to the cage.
Oath keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Li's efforts to push away.
Oath tries to throw a body punch but Li avoids it by throwing Oath back against the cage.

Li escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oath has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Li moves forwards but Oath connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Li scores with a leg kick.
Oath fails to land the takedown.
Li connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Oath's hands.
Li misses with a left hand

and Oath counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Li!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Li is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Li dodges the ground and pound from Oath.
Li is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Oath has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Li is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Li wants to get back to his feet.
Li is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Oath throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Oath sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Li defending well though.
Oath has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Li is trying to maintain the position but Oath is very close to passing his half guard.
Li won't allow Oath to pass to mount.
Oath is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Li regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Oath.
Oath throws a big right hand that misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Oath postures up and lands a big shot to Li's brow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Li avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Oath loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ken Oath dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Li misses with a kick to the body

and Oath counters with a double leg. Li bangs his head on the mat and seems to be on queer street here... Oath follows up with punches and the ref steps in to end the fight! It was the slam that caused all the problems.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Ken Oath!
As Ken Oath got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Na Na Na Naaa, Na Na Na Naaa, Hey Hey.. Goodnight.. Fuck off Li.. you ain't got shit. '.
