Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronny Bruvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perez comes to the cage accompanied by Spill The Wine - War. Bruvik is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rånny Bruvik. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 16 - 2, fighting out of New York, Ronny Bruvik!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A left lands for Bruvik.

Perez gets a clinch.
Perez looking for a takedown.

Bruvik breaks the clinch.
Bruvik throws a head kick that misses.
Perez throws a leg kick
and Bruvik counters with a flying knee. Nice.
The fight stays on the outside here - Perez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Perez throws a series of punches but Bruvik avoids them all with ease.
Bruvik throws a head kick but Perez moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Perez. Bruvik does a little dance to reset his feet.
Perez blocks a head kick by Bruvik.
Perez tries a low kick but Bruvik avoids it.
Perez is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bruvik feints a jab promting Perez to slip. Bruvik then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Perez slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Bruvik throws a series of punches but Perez moves out of range.

Perez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Perez fails to land the takedown.
Perez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Perez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bruvik lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bruvik takes a swing at Perez's ribcage but misses.
Bruvik slaps away a takedown attempt from Perez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bruvik lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Bruvik will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A telegraphed right hand from Perez misses the target.
Perez thows a body shot but no joy.
Nice straight punches there by Bruvik. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bruvik.
Perez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Decent striking displayed by Bruvik there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bruvik jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bruvik lands with a right hand.

Perez is rocked!
Bruvik throws a head kick that misses.
Oh Perez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bruvik throws a head kick but Perez moves out of range.
Perez seems to have got his legs back now.
Bruvik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Perez lands a glancing blow to the side of Bruvik's head.
Perez shoots for a double leg takedown but Bruvik sprawls well. He's pushed Perez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Perez dives in for a single leg takedown but Bruvik sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Perez has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bruvik clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Perez doesn't have the hooks in and Bruvik manages to turn into his guard.
Bruvik won't allow Perez to sweep him here.
Bruvik seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Perez keeping moving, preventing Bruvik from controlling successfully.
Perez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Perez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Perez seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Ronny Bruvik.
Bruvik throws a jab when Perez was well out of range.

Perez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bruvik lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Perez dives in and grabs Bruvik's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bruvik pushes down on Perez's head and hops out.
Bruvik uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Perez.
Bruvik lands a jab to the nose.
Bruvik lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Perez at a distance.
Perez takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters circle, before Bruvik throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Perez's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Bruvik lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Ronny Bruvik!
A very excited looking Ronny Bruvik rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
