Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marco Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera tries to score a power double leg takedown but Weider sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rivera somewhat.
Rivera looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Weider is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rivera's half guard.
Weider not doing much here.
Weider has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Weider takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Weider throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Weider pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Weider sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Weider lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Weider working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Weider is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rivera to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rivera shrugs it off.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Weider lands a big shot there that rocks Rivera but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Rivera is still in real trouble! Can Weider finish him?
Weider looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Rivera covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
