The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mcbride sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Burns somewhat.

Burns shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mcbride is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Burns scores with a couple of nice shots.
