Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenpachi Zaraki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Oliver Armstrong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenpachi Zaraki!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaraki misses with a jab, cross combination.

Armstrong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kenpachi Zaraki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zaraki works over Armstrong's head and body with a nice combination.
Zaraki throws a right hand that Armstrong ducks under and follows up with a left that Armstrong also avoids with ease.
Zaraki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Armstrong circles away quickly and effectively.
Armstrong has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Armstrong there as he acknowledges the shot.
Horrible takedown by Zaraki or perhaps it was just good defense by Armstrong which made him look bad.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Armstrong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Armstrong remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Armstrong creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Zaraki sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Zaraki really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Armstrong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zaraki can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round but I would say that Oliver Armstrong will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
