The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Rodriguez enables Little to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rodriguez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Rodriguez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Little sitting in guard here, content to control.
Little passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Little controlling the position.
Rodriguez takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Little takes a little break here. Rodriguez wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Little tries to stand but Rodriguez is controlling his head.
Little staying calm.
Little lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Little passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Rodriguez!

Little is landing with some decent strikes but Rodriguez is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Little is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rodriguez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Little takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Little has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Little connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
