Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shad Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Ordo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shad Wagner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Ordo!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ordo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wagner fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ordo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Ordo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wagner defends it nicely.
Ordo shoots in and drives through. Wagner sprawls well.
Ordo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Wagner is pressed up against the cage. Ordo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wagner down to the mat. Wagner avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Shad Wagner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Ordo.
Ordo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Wagner holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wagner takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Ordo's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Ordo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wagner goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Wagner gets a clinch.
Ordo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wagner pulls his leg out and moves away.
Wagner misses with a few strikes there.
Ordo moves in looking to clinch but Wagner pushes him off.
Ordo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wagner defends it nicely.
Ordo shoots in and drives through. Wagner sprawls well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ordo throws a series of punches but Wagner avoids them all with ease.
The fighters circling - Wagner throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wagner misses with a two punch combination.
Wagner tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ordo defends well and Wagner ends up having to push Ordo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ordo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ordo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wagner tries to avoid it but Ordo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wagner to the ground. Wagner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wagner closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ordo's guard.
Ordo looks winded!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wagner loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Wagner not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Wagner wants to control from the top but Ordo keeps moving.
Wagner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Wagner wants to stand but Ordo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Shad Wagner wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Ordo misses with a takedown attempt - Wagner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No luck for Wagner with that takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Ordo. No joy for Wagner on that attempt.
Wagner is looking to clinch but Ordo is avoiding it.

Ordo throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ordo moves into the clinch.
Ordo drags the fight down to the ground.
Ordo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Wagner sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Ordo is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ordo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Wagner stacks Ordo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Wagner!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Shad Wagner will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Some wild striking there from Ordo.
Ordo throws a head kick that misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ordo.
Ordo tries for a takedown but Wagner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ordo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wagner sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ordo somewhat.

Ordo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wagner manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wagner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ordo to the mat! Ordo manages to get full guard.
Ordo is breathing heavily.
Wagner throwing strikes from guard but Ordo blocks nicely.
Ordo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wagner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wagner wants to stand but Ordo has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Wagner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ordo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ordo trying to keep a closed guard but Wagner is proving a slippery customer.
Wagner tries to free his leg and advance position but Ordo is retaining full guard.

Wagner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wagner wants to control from the top but Ordo keeps moving.
Wagner won't allow Ordo to get back to his feet.
Ordo throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wagner postures up in Ordo's guard and throws a big left but Ordo blocks it.

Ordo working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Wagner has passed into half guard!
Wagner is looking to take a break and control but Ordo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wagner is thwarting Ordo's attempts to control the position.
Ordo wants to get back to full guard.
Wagner is looking to pass Ordo's guard but actually Ordo recovers to full guard.
Wagner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ordo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wagner seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Horrible takedown by Ordo or perhaps it was just good defense by Wagner which made him look bad.
Ordo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Wagner counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Ordo is looking to improve his position.

Wagner is taking a breather. Ordo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Wagner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ordo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Wagner tries to stand and escape but Ordo is controlling the position.
Wagner throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wagner is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ordo defends it well.
Ordo tries to get to full guard but Wagner has control of the leg.
Ordo is staying active underneath Wagner, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Ordo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ordo blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wagner.
Ordo is trying to maintain the position but Wagner is very close to passing his half guard.
Wagner is trying to control the action in half guard but Ordo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ordo swats away the attempt to clinch by Wagner.
Wagner dives in for a single leg takedown but Ordo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wagner is looking to break free of the clinch but Ordo has double underhooks.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ordo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ordo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wagner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ordo's waist but Ordo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wagner off to one side.
Ordo lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ordo has his takedown stuffed
and Wagner counters by clinching up.
Ordo gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wagner.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ordo jumps guard and drags Wagner to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
And that's the end of the fight!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wagner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
