Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aoki Yoshidas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Out looks to score with a jab to the body but Yoshidas is just out of range.

Pablo Out seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Yoshidas has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Out had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Yoshidas defends it easily.

Out working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yoshidas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yoshidas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Yoshidas, as that shot connected.

Yoshidas throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Out throws out a loose jab but Yoshidas uses good head movement to avoid it.

Out tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Yoshidas was well out of range. Poor timing from Out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Out lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Yoshidas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yoshidas showed some decent athleticism there.

Yoshidas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Out does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Out stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Yoshidas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Out has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd cheers as Yoshidas lands an impressive looking overhand right. Out doesn't seem phased though.

Well Yoshidas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A determined Aoki Yoshidas didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
Pablo Out was interviewed post fight and said 'sorry guys for this loss but you know what I think a rubber match is necessary? What do you guys think?!'.
