Williams is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sweep The Leg. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grizz Williams!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawler lands with a right hand.
Williams thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lawler moves out of range of the strikes.
Grizz Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams misses with a straight left.
Williams scores with a nice body kick.
Lawler misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lawler smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lawler connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Williams moves out of range of the body kick.
Lawler wants to clinch.
Williams fails with an attempt to clinch.

Williams closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Williams wants to break the clinch but can't.
Lawler keeps control of Williams as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Williams breaks from the clinch.
Lawler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lawler throws a series of punches but Williams avoids them all with ease.
Lawler works over Williams's head and body with a nice combination.
Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Lawler finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Williams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lawler moves out of range of the strikes.
Williams seems to have recovered his senses.

Lawler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lawler misses with a few strikes there.
Williams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lawler stuffs the takedown.
Lawler throws a right and a left that Williams avoids nicely.
Lawler misses with a leg kick.
Lawler moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Lawler throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Lawler scores a takedown into full mount!
Williams keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lawler tries to control but Williams wriggling away.

Lawler avoids the attempt from Williams to control.
Lawler trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Lawler controlling the position easily from mount.
Lawler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Williams on the ground.

Lawler prevents Williams from getting the reversal.
Williams is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Williams wants to control but Lawler is having none of it.
Williams is squirming around, avoiding Lawler's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lawler controlling his opponent.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Lawler dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Williams scores with a sloppy right hand. Lawler should have avoided that one.
Williams tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lawler counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Williams takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lawler works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
No joy there for Lawler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bob Lawler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Williams doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lawler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Williams.
Some wild striking there from Williams.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Williams, as that shot connected.
Williams connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Williams is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lawler.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Williams takes one to the side of the head.
Lawler lands with a shot to the body.
Lawler lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Williams can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Lawler and Williams drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Lawler.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Lawler!
