The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lauzon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hendricks.
Lauzon misses with a hook. Hendricks ducked under it nicely.

Hendricks shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hendricks was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Lauzon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hendricks defends it easily.

Lauzon has his foot on Hendricks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hendricks works his way back into a safe position though.

Lauzon working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Hendricks turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Lauzon off and cradles Hendricks's limp body as Lauzon celebrates with his corner.
