Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Alyssa Summers and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earp misses with a left hand
and Davis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Davis.
Earp tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Davis pulls guard effortlessly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis looking for a sweep. Not yet Davis, not yet.
Davis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Earp's guard.
Davis is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Davis seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Earp for as long as he can get away with.
Anthony Davis has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
The fighters circling - Earp throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Earp swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Earp avoids a kick to the body.
Davis slips a straight right by Earp.

Davis is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Earp's half guard.
