Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Pawlak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Nijem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pawlak tries to clinch up but Nijem circles away and keeps his distance.
Nijem keeps the fight on the outside.

Nijem changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pawlak looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pawlak avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Nijem.
Pawlak tries to buck Nijem off but Nijem is having none of it.
Pawlak is not content to let Nijem control the position.
A lull in the action here.
Pawlak sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Pawlak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Nijem with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jake Nijem hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Pawlak slips under a jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pawlak looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nijem looks to land a left hand but Pawlak moved out of range nicely.

Nijem scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Still in half guard, Nijem seems content to control.

Nijem wants to stand up but Pawlak is controlling the position.

Pawlak has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Nijem. Oh but Pawlak has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Nijem goes limp - he's gone! Pawlak jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
