The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heavy misses the shot to the body.
Duffy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Duffy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A punch combination from Heavy misses.
Heavy dives in and grabs Duffy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Duffy pushes down on Heavy's head and hops out.

Heavy shoots in for a takedown but Duffy shows good takedown defense.

Heavy trying to control the position from guard on top but Duffy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Heavy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Duffy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Duffy pulls Heavy in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Heavy wants to stand and escape but instead Duffy has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Josiah Duffy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Heavy controls Duffy momentarily but Duffy frees himself.

Heavy landing heel shots to his opponent's back. Duffy not amused, grabs the leg and drops back, looking for a heel hook. Heavy doesn't react quick enough and Duffy cranks it - Heavy screams in pain and taps out! That was a really quick submission! Impressive stuff!
