Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Tanner Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomson Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanner Jr comes to the cage accompanied by LL Cool J - It's Time for War. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanner Jr tries to clinch but Martin moves out of range.

Martin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Martin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tanner Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Martin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Martin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Tanner Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Martin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tanner Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Martin's legs - danger averted.

Martin is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Tanner Jr gets his way!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
