Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Isaiah Martinez!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sans looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sans looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Sans is trying to control. Martinez wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Omar Sans wasn't doing enough on the ground.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Omar Sans.

Martinez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sans haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Martinez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Sans not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Omar Sans overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well Sans has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
