Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Leach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Begbie Franco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franco comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Born Slippy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Matt Leach has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Begbie Franco!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franco moves out of range of the body kick.
Leach with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Leach scores with a jab to the head.
Leach throws a push kick but Franco slaps the foot to one side.
Leach throws a low kick but Franco avoids it.
Leach misses with a shot to the body
and Franco counters with a nice body shot.
Leach gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Franco counters with a head kick. That will keep Leach thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Franco throws a leg kick which misses Leach's front leg but catches the back leg as Leach tries to avoid it.
Leach connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Leach throws a leg kick but Franco moved away.
Leach really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Leach motions for Franco to come forward. Leach throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Franco scores with a spinning back kick!
Leach walks forward, straight into a front kick from Franco.
Franco defending well as Leach loads up on a big left hand.
Good leg kick by Leach there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Franco feints and then cracks Leach's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Leach down.

Franco moves out of range as Leach throws a body kick.
Leach looks to land a combination but Franco avoids it well.
Franco takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Leach looks to throw a body kick
and Franco counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Leach throws a leg kick but Franco sees it coming and checks it nicely.
A solid leg kick lands there for Franco.
Franco tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Franco avoids the body shot from Leach.
Leach connects with a looping right hand.
Leach throws a front kick that sends Franco stumbling back into the cage.
Franco wants to land a leg kick but Leach is out of range.
Leach is looking to land body kicks.
Leach misses with a body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Leach takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Franco throws a nice outside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Franco throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Franco throws a wild body kick that Leach sees coming a mile off.
Leach lands a slapping body shot.
Franco dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Franco looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Franco lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Leach has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Leach and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Leach swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Begbie Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Franco will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Nice defenses there by Franco.
Leach slips under a jab from Franco.
Franco fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Leach has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Franco scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Leach tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Franco throws a series of punches but Leach avoids them all with ease.
Franco staying out of range there.
Leach thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Franco turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Leach throws a half hearted mid kick.
Jab, jab by Franco - just one landing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Franco looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Franco throws a nice inside leg kick.
Franco tests Leach's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Leach throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Franco counter with a right hand.
Leach is rocked!
Franco cracks Leach with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Leach tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Franco pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Leach is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Begbie Franco!
Our winner, Begbie Franco, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
