Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Kislyak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chi Iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maxim Kislyak looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kislyak lands a high kick!
Iron moves in looking to clinch but Kislyak pushes him off.
Iron blocks a head kick by Kislyak.
Iron sends Kislyak crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Iron is motioning to the referee to let Kislyak up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kislyak tries to clinch but Iron is having none of it.
Kislyak misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Iron closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kislyak makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Iron really felt that one!

Maxim Kislyak has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chi Iron.

Iron pulls Kislyak into guard.
Iron is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Iron is working an open guard so Kislyak takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Kislyak counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Kislyak wants the takedown. Iron is fighting it off but Kislyak persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Iron's guard against the cage.
Iron is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kislyak decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Iron swats away the attempt to clinch by Kislyak.

and Kislyak counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Kislyak gets control of Iron's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kislyak will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Kislyak wants to stand up but Iron is controlling him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Iron wants to control from the top but Kislyak keeps moving.

Iron gets to his feet. Kislyak looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Iron closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Iron creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Iron wants a takedown but no success here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Iron changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kislyak fights it off and pushes away nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
You can see the frustration on Kislyak's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kislyak is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Iron off and has taken his back!

Kislyak has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Iron has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Kislyak wants to control the position but Iron frees himself and scrambles - Kislyak manages to regain control in side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Iron wants to control but Kislyak postures up.

Kislyak decides to stand back up. Kislyak steps back and let's Iron get back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Maxim Kislyak will probably get the nod.

Kislyak drops down looking for an ankle pick but Iron pulls his leg out and moves away.

Kislyak is pressed up against the cage. Iron has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kislyak down to the mat. Kislyak avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Kislyak counters by moving into the clinch.
Kislyak prevents a takedown attempt there.
Iron tries to score a body lock takedown but Kislyak shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Kislyak escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Iron decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kislyak is looking to get back to is feet but Iron passes into side control.
Kislyak takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kislyak regains half guard there - taking advantage of Iron's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Iron trying to pass the guard but Kislyak defending well.
Iron trying to control the action but Kislyak is working from the bottom.
Iron stalling away here and it's allowed Kislyak to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Kislyak working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Iron doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Iron manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

And that's the end of the fight!
Maxim Kislyak showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kislyak, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
