Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green dodges the punch combination from Lee.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lee checks a leg kick.
Herb Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lee avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Green.
Green lands a nice leg kick that just misses Lee's sensitive parts.
Green slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lee ducks under a wild hook from Green.
Lee avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Green walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lee checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Lee throws a body punch but Green moves out of range.

Green shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lee is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Green dives into side control.

Green is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lee has escaped the position, nice work there.

Green tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Green has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Green thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Green wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lee, who protects the arm well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Green closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Green lands in his opponent's guard.
Lee looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Green passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Lee gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Herb Green overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Green is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Lee has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Green has control of Lee's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Lee regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Poor strikes thrown by Green there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Green can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lee is looking to escape.

Green looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Green is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lee can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
We've been hearing that Green has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Green tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lee paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Green shoots in and bounces Lee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Green is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Lee wants to stand but Green is controlling the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Green changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lee tries to avoid it but Green manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lee to the ground. Lee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lee swings for the body but Green moves out of range.
Lee thows a body shot but no joy.
Green misses with a hook.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Green lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lee has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lee and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
