PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bamf Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Gorman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gorman has chosen O'Fortuna as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter is looking to clinch but Gorman is avoiding it.
Gorman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gorman swats away the attempt to clinch by Fighter.
Gorman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gorman scores with a punch to the head.

Fighter lands a big head kick that sends Gorman tumbling to the mat! Fighter takes a step backwards and waves Gorman back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Glen Gorman has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fighter tries to land knees in the clinch but Gorman avoids the damage to the body.

Fighter keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gorman's efforts to push away.

Gorman is trying to maintain a safe position but Fighter gets an underhook and turns Gorman into the cage.

Fighter tries to land knees in the clinch but Gorman avoids the damage to the body.
Fighter is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gorman is defending well for now.

Fighter using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gorman has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gorman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Oh Fighter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gorman is trying to break the clinch but Fighter has him pressed against the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Gorman has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Fighter is trying to keep an underhook but Gorman manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Gorman lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Fighter quite badly. Fighter pulls Gorman in close trying to recover. Gorman postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Fighter on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Fighter doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Glen Gorman!
