The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krovitzky throws a left and a right that both miss
and Golovdy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Golovdy stuffs the takedown.
Krovitzky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Golovdy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Krovitzky has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

and Golovdy counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Krovitzky is breathing heavily.
Krovitzky throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Golovdy counters with a series of strikes. Krovitzky will be more careful next time no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Golovdy counters with a crisp one two that drops Krovitzky! Golovdy thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Krovitzky to his feet! Krovitzky is in big trouble!

and Golovdy counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Krovitzky has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
