Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samppa Linna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aster Roid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roid has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Linna is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Roid takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Linna cracks Roid with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Linna has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Roid to stand back up!

Roid is trying desperately to land a takedown but Linna is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Roid.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Roid accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Roid is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That was a close round but I would say that Samppa Linna will probably get the nod.

Linna lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Roid falls backwards - clearly groggy! Linna dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
