PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eino Ranka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Chang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eino Ranka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Chang!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Ranka.
Chang lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Chang throws a sloppy head kick and Ranka moves out of range easily.
Nice body kick from Chang.
Nice defenses there by Chang.

Ranka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Chang looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Chang fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ranka, pushing him back against the cage.
Ranka stalling in the clinch but Chang improves position.
Chang pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Ranka looking to stall.

Ranka avoids the elbow strike from Chang, against the cage.
Ranka prevents a body shot from Chang.

Ranka tries to stall but Chang uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

You can see the frustration on Ranka's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Chang throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Ranka keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Ranka has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chang can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Ranka bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chang's guard.

Chang feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I would just about give that final round to Bob Chang.
Well Chang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
