Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bright doesn't manage to clinch there - Stevens circles away.
Stevens throws a big shot that misses.
Bright looks for a takedown but Stevens sprawls well.
Stevens pushes Bright up against the cage in a clinch.
Stevens tries to score a body lock takedown but Bright shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bright can't get the takedown.
Stevens slowing the pace effectively.
Stevens drags the fight down to the ground.
Bright is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bright's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Bright won't allow Stevens to get back to his feet.
Bright is pushing down on Stevens's leg trying to pass to half guard. Stevens is fighting to maintain full guard but Bright has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stevens regains full guard. Nicely done.

Bright wants to get up but he can't break Stevens's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Bright postures up.
Bright wants to stand but Stevens has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Stevens is trying to keep Bright in close.
Stevens seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stevens looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Frank Stevens hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bright tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bright has Stevens up against the cage in a clinch.

Bright wants to get back to striking at distance but Stevens won't allow it.
Stevens jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bright walks away with a smile on his face. Stevens gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bright closes the distance and clinches up with Stevens, looking for a takedown. Bright pushes Stevens against the cage but Stevens circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jc Bright. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stevens shoots for a double leg takedown but Bright sprawls well. He's pushed Stevens's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stevens has Bright up against the cage in a clinch.
Stevens misses with a knee strike.
Bright is trying to break the clinch but Stevens has him pressed against the cage.
Bright tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Stevens smiles and moves away.
Stevens checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Bright really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fight stays on the outside here - Bright looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stevens misses with a body kick.
Stevens shoots in looking for a takedown. Bright tries to sprawl out of it but Stevens keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bright manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bright shoots in but no luck this time.
Stevens clinches up against the cage.
Bright successfully pulls guard.
Stevens is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Bright will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bright working a defensive guard but Stevens passes into half guard.

Stevens throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Stevens is looking to stall in half guard but Bright is in no mood to hang around. He's locked up a Kimura from the bottom and has used it to sweep! He's held on to the kimura and is looking to finish here... will he get it... YES! Stevens taps out and the crowd goes crazy! Great finish!
