The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Standley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Standley feints and as Salander raises his hands in defense, Standley changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Salander is working an open guard so Standley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Salander dives in for a single leg takedown but Standley sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Standley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Standley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Standley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Salander. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

I would just about give that final round to Olavur Standley.
Well Standley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
