Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oswaldo Mancillas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Hamilton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oswaldo Mancillas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cameron Hamilton!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mancillas closes the distance and clinches.

Mancillas ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mancillas no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Hamilton avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mancillas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mancillas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hamilton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mancillas wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Hamilton drops back looking for a leg! Mancillas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mancillas manages to kick Hamilton off! Hamilton jumps back into Mancillas's guard.

Mancillas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hamilton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Mancillas is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hamilton trying to control the position from guard on top but Mancillas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Mancillas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mancillas is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mancillas has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hamilton has passed into side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hamilton goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Mancillas has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hamilton but great work by Mancillas.
Hamilton wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Mancillas thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hamilton wants to control but Mancillas postures up.
Mancillas creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hamilton sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Mancillas knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hamilton on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mancillas is staying tight to Hamilton's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Mancillas prevents Hamilton from escaping the position.
Hamilton wants to control but Mancillas postures up.
Hamilton gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mancillas is working for a kimura but Hamilton is defending it quite comfortably.
The fighters are battling for position here. Hamilton manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hamilton wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hamilton uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Hamilton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mancillas pinned against the cage. Mancillas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Horrible takedown by Hamilton or perhaps it was just good defense by Mancillas which made him look bad.

Mancillas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hamilton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mancillas working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
The strikes coming from Mancillas are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Mancillas with the ground and pound but Hamilton regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oswaldo Mancillas dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Hamilton shoots in for a double leg but Mancillas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Mancillas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hamilton paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hamilton shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mancillas as he jumps to the side.
Hamilton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Oswaldo Mancillas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cameron Hamilton.
A slapping body kick lands there for Mancillas.
Hamilton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mancillas is fending him off so far but Hamilton persists. Nope, Mancillas circles away and we're back to standing.
Mancillas lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!


Hamilton is rocked!
Mancillas throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Hamilton stumbling backwards into the cage! Hamilton bounces back off the cage towards Mancillas, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Mancillas lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Mancillas celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Oswaldo Mancillas!
